What is Marvon? Well, it’s just a name for my company, or more like an anti-name. It’s not cool, it doesn’t sound like it might be a foreign word, there’s not much of a story behind it, it’s just a name.
Who is Marvon?
It’s mostly just me (Brian), and I bring in people from my network to solve problems for my clients. My clients vary, but generally fall somewhere between a startup to a mid-sized businesses. Though I have done plenty of work for Fortune 500 brands, I feel I have had my biggest positive impact on small to mid-sized organizations. Their industries span Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Travel, E-Commerce, SaaS providers, Call Centers, Artificial Intelligence and many more.
What does Marvon Do?
For the last decade I have primarily focused on Cyber security and compliance with a lot of emphasis on architecture, DevSecOps, and compliance/audit readiness. I have helped many of my customers achieve their compliance and privacy goals by implementing an Information Security Program, preparing for audit and managing the audit process. I also help design and implement technical solutions both in the cloud and on-prem or hybrid infrastructure. And if that’s not all boring enough I also help develop policies and procedures, fill out those pesky insurance questionnaires, and help with things like Business Continuity/Disaster recover and Incident Response.
Over the years I have developed a fantastic network of resources. If I can’t help with a problem directly, I generally have someone I can reach out to that can help solve it.
Testimonials
Brian’s impact on Oplus went beyond just security implementation. His thoughtful approach to building security foundations appropriate for healthcare data handling helped us earn the trust of early clients and partners in the healthcare sector. The security framework he built continues to support our growth and development.
Brian is my go-to-guy for anything I don’t understand fully. Not only will he answer the questions I ask, but he’ll answer the questions I haven’t asked – understanding why I’m asking more than I do.
